How do we differ from an Insurance broker?
- We charge a flat fee. We do not sell insurance. We advise on which plan is best suited to our client’s needs based on their individual medical history and healthcare patterns.
- We do not collect a % based on which plan you choose.
- We do not collect referral fees from the insurance plans we recommend for you.
- Since we do not contract with insurance companies or their agents, we are not limited to a set number of insurance plans.
Who Are We?
Lori Shine RN, BSN, MBA brings a diverse background in health care to her clients. From beginnings in home healthcare and surgical trauma to caring for patients with spinal cord injury, Lori’s clinical career has only been complimented by the regulatory experience she gained working for Colorado’s largest insurance carrier for four years in the areas of Disease Management, Case Management and Pre-certification. In her most recent position as a Nurse Auditor for Colorado’s largest healthcare system, she continued to build her expertise in the area of Medicare compliance billing and Medicare coverage guidelines in the hospital inpatient and outpatient setting, while instituting change management strategies in key areas of the facility and it’s various departments.
Lori earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing in 1992 and her Master of Business Administration with a specialization in Health Care Management in 2003.
